"If you think you're smart .. to do it quicker, you're actually not very smart at all"

Getting started is important. Consistently taking baby steps to get started is important. However, don't feel rushed. An analogy to rushing to get started in the Internet is given in the article from Internet Tutorials & Primer (http://www.mediacollege.com/internet/server/getting-started.html):
"... 99% of all the problems on the internet are caused by the following people:
  • Spammers
  • Scammers
  • Virus Authors
  • Newbie Server Admins
.........there is a huge amount to learn. If you think you're smart enough to do it quicker, you're actually not very smart at all.

Your first task is to make a choice: Do you want to do this quickly or properly?"

Looks like newbies like us are part of the 99%. And yes, there is a lot to learn. However, there is not need to learn it all. Remember our goals and focus on learning those things and taking those baby steps everyday (even if it is 30mins) that bring you nearer to your goal.
